Overview

First of all I really liked how you formatted your unit plan and lessons. It was straight to the point but also was very detailed. I think it was well done in terms of making sure that instructors were able to follow the page very easily and the activities/lesson plan you had created was catered for the students in a way where they would want to learn more about the water cycle.

Instructors and creators

Its great to see intoductions of everyone. Its great to get a intoduction to what each person is studying and what roles that you played in this assignment

I think this part was done well, it showed three of the points that you wanted to mention and it showed that you had a good understanding of your own resources and explained the benefits of it as well.

Rationale

I think this part was done well, it showed three of the points that you wanted to mention and it showed that you had a good understanding of your own resources and explained the benefits of it as well.

Curriculum Connections

I think it was nice that you introduced it specifically to the BC curriculum. I mean this can even be a beneficial unit plan for other provinces but it is nice to see that you specifically catered for the BC curriculum.

Learning Outcome and assessment

: I think this part was also well done. It correlacted with the learning assesment part which was good. I enjoy how you bolded the key words in this section as well.

Plan For inclusion :

I liked how thourough you were with this part. I think it is important that inclusion is hihglighted when making unit plans.

Lessons:

This part was probably my favroite part. I love seeing what you came up with for the lesson plan. I liked how you linked it with information about what each activity is suppose to accomplish and the activities were well developed. I also think the collabrative aspect of these assignments are good. I think interaction with classmates will further be engaging and exicting for the students. Giving feedback and having this collabrative aspect to learning about the water cycle will be benefical!

On lesson one I think your activity is well structured but one crtique I had was maybe instead of taking a picture of water cycles it would be beneficial to draw what they find. The reason why I say this is because not every person might have a camera or phone to capture their image. As a grade 2 student technology might not be as accesible as drawing the image. Another possibility may be that the whole class goes for a walk and the instructor takes photo or even making them draw the image during class time outside.
